Technology Tools: Questions to Ask

Technology in the classroom can help to facilitate connection and provide students with new ways to question, collaborate, demonstrate thinking and research. Teachers are often reluctant to open the proverbial Pandora's Box with a new technology, fearing the steepness of the learning curve or the possibility of creating a distraction. To ensure that the use of technology is a mindful and intentional choice, teachers might first ask themselves the following five questions when considering the use of a new tech tool in their classroom:
